Manaslu Trek is one of the less frequented routes of Nepal, as it is considered a challenging

journey. It also neighbors Annapurna Circuit, and in the past few years, some trekkers have

started to make detours to explore a part of the Manaslu region.

Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu

Day 2: Trek preparation day in Kathmandu

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola

 Day 4: Sotikhola to Machha Khola

Day 5: Machha Khola to Jagat

Day 6: Jagat to Dang

After breakfast, you head to the trail leading to Dang. First, you walk down a long steep stone staircase and then climb to rocky ridges from where you can see amazing views of Sringi Himal. From the ridges, you head to Philim, where you have your lunch. Then you continue to walk through terraced farmlands filled with barley and millet. After climbing a ridge again, you reach Dang for overnight stay.

Day 7: Dang to Lowgaun

After breakfast, you hit the trail leading to Lowgaun, where you get to experience Tibetan culture. The path gives you beautiful views of the valley with lush vegetation, and you reach Bihi Phedi, where the route divides into two directions. You take the way that leads you to rustic villages like Ghap. At Ghap, you'll have your lunch. Then you continue the trek while seeing magnificent views of Ganesh Himal and reach Lowgaun for overnight stay.

Day 8: Lowgaun to Samagaon

After breakfast, you show your permit and hit the trail that leads to Samagaon. You walk along with forests filled with juniper and birch. En route, you get to see the marvelous Ganesh Himal and Sringi Himal. By late afternoon, you reach Samagaon for overnight stay.

Day 9: Rest day and a visit to Manaslu Base Camp 4460m

Today, you wake up at dawn and have light breakfast. Then you head to Manaslu Base Camp. The trail goes through birch forests, and you have to cross suspension bridges. You walk along the banks of Budhi Gandaki River, cross it, and ascend to Manaslu Base Camp. The path starts to get steep, filled with moraines. From the base camp, you can see panoramic views of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and many more. After enjoying the picture, you head back to Samagaon.

Day 10: Samagaonto Samdo

After breakfast, you hit the trail to Samdo. The path is short in comparison to other parts of the route. You walk through birch and juniper forests while enjoying scenic views of Manaslu. You also get to see yaks and goats. The trail is filled with Mani walls and Chortens. After crossing Mayol Khola, you reach Samdo around lunchtime. Then you can explore the village and teahouses. Overnights stay.

Day 11: Samdo to Larkebazar

After breakfast, you ascend to Dharmashala. The trail starts from a juniper forest and slowly gets rough as you ascend to higher elevations. Throughout the trail, you can see up-close views of Manaslu. You can see Syacha Glacier as you approach your destination. Then you reach Larkebazar for the overnight stay.

Day 12: Larkebazar passto Manaslu or Bimthang

After an early breakfast, you hit the trail that ascends to Larkya La Pass. The trail is filled with snow and moraines from Larkya Glacier. As you ascend, the trail gets icy and narrow. Slowly, Cheol and Larkya Himalayas come into sight. After a challenging climb, you reach the top of the pass, where you can see spectacular views of Manaslu, Larkya, Cheol, and neighboring peaks. After enjoying the view, you head downhill to Bimthang for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Bimthang to Gowa or Tilche

Today, you descend to Tilje after breakfast. The trail goes through juniper forests, and en route, you can see amazing views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. You then ascend to a ridge and again descend. You walk pass by farmlands and then cross Karche La Pass, a small pass. Then the trail leads you to fir and rhododendron forest to Gowa. Finally, you reach Tilche for an overnight stay.

Day 14: Tilche to Dharapani

After breakfast, you descend to the banks of Dudh Khola. En route, you can see stunning views of Manaslu and Annapurna II. Then you cross the river via a suspension bridge and walk through rhododendron forests. You reach the checkpoint of the Manaslu Conservation Area. After completing the formalities, you head to Dharapani for the overnight stay.

Day 15: Dharapani to Kathmandu by Jeep

Today is your last day in the Manaslu Circuit. After breakfast, you will board the Jeep taking you to Kathmandu. You can enjoy the warm culture of the villages and teahouses you see along the way. Enjoy the pristine views of Marsayangdi and Trishuli Rivers along the Prithivi Highway. You reach your hotel at Kathmandu and rest.

Day 16: Rest Kathmandu

Today is a rest day at Kathmandu. You are free to go shopping and explore the various cultural and religious heritages of Kathmandu. If you wish, you can also go for a full body massage to relax your body. You join the staff and guides for farewell dinner.

Day 17: Fly back home country
