3 years ago - Services - Kathmandu - 500 viewsManaslu Trek is one of the less frequented routes of Nepal, as it is considered a challenging
journey. It also neighbors Annapurna Circuit, and in the past few years, some trekkers have
started to make detours to explore a part of the Manaslu region. The Manaslu region is
dominated by Tibetan culture but lives in harmony with other Nepali ethnic cultures of that
region. With Narba Treks, Manaslu Trek, you explore the Manaslu region in the best way and
also get to experience the unique culture at the most exceptional places.
This trek begins at Kathmandu. You sightsee some of the landmarks of the valley like
Kathmandu Durbar Square and Boudhanath Stupa while your permit is being processed. Then
you head to Arughat via Prithivi Highway. From Dhading, you go north and reach Arughat, and
from there, you drive till Soti Khola.
From here onwards, you start your trek. You head to Samagaon via passing through several
rustic villages like Jagat, Dang, and Lowgaun. At Jagat, you show your permit to enter Manaslu
Conservation Area. From Samagaon, you hike to Manaslu Base Camp. You ascend early
morning, and by mid-day, you reach the Manaslu base camp at 4460m. You get to see
breathtaking views of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, and many more.
Then you descend back to Samagaon, and if you have time, you can explore the local
monasteries. Then you head to Larkya La Pass. From the pass, you descend to Bimthang. As
