Mt. Everest attracts many mountaineers and climbers from different countries. Thousands of trekkers come to do the Everest base camp trek every tourist season. EBC is the home of the Sherpa people, and you can experience their unique culture, lifestyle, and tradition. At the same time, you can enjoy the beautiful nature, wildlife, rivers, waterfalls, highland alpine forests,  glacial moraines, foothills, Sherpa villages, and high snowcapped mountains above 8000 m.

The Everest base camp trek can be done in 12 days, starting in Kathmandu and ending in Kathmandu. It is a serious, high-altitude hiking trail. It would be best if you were mentally and physically fit to complete the task. You will stay in the T-house and guest houses along the way. It was quite a clean and comfortable stay. You can eat fresh and hygienic local food in the T-house. Sometimes, you can also eat Indian and Chinese cuisine

The Everest Base Camp trek itinerary

Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla by air and trek to Manjo (2750 m/12 km/5 hrs).

Day 03: Trek to Namche bazaar (4 hours, 8 km, 3440 m)

Day 04: Explore Namche Bazar-visit Syangboche and EverestView Hotel.

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (5 hours, 3800 m, 12 km).

Day 06: Trek to Dingboche 5hrs/4400m/11 km

Day 07: acclimatize day and explore Chhukung Valley

Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (3 hours, 4900 m)

Day 09: Trek to Gorekshep 3 hours, explore Everest Base Camp, and overnight at Gorekshep.

Day 10: Morning hike to Kala Patthar 1.5 hours (5545 m) back to the lodge and trek down to Dhugla/Pheriche.

Day 11: Trek to Tengboche.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazar.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla (7 hours, 18 km).

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu

Day 14: Final departure
